I just learned that Fireproof has made its way to our local theater. The theater is only open Friday through Sunday, so I'm thinking about seeing it on Saturday night. I've heard very good things about this movie . . . I'll let you know what I think after I see it!

I just looked that up on IMDB, it looks TERRIBLE. Also, Kirk Cameron is the only person associated with the movie who has a picture up on IMDB.

ReplyDeleteThis is a really good movie, Becky. If you're looking for "Hollywood quality," don't see this movie (though I don't think the quality is terrible). But if you're looking for an awesome story about God's love and redemption illustrated in marriage, definitely see this movie. :)
ReplyDeleteMy comment is pretty much the same as Holly's. I have heard it's low quality but with an amazing message! I still haven't made my way to seeing it yet, but I want to. Marriages are being strengthened and saved because of this movie's message. THAT alone is awesome! There is also a book to go along with it.
ReplyDeleteSo did you go see the movie this weekend? If so, what did you think?
ReplyDeleteNope, I didn't make it. So now I'll probably have to wait for the dvd. All of my students saw it, though (it was a dorm activity), so I'm having them journal about it.
